Bi Shutong comments on the starting Autumn season: "Our expectations for the coming season for fresh exotic mushroom and substrate sales are strong. We have witnessed strong growth in recent weeks, and we are only at the start of the Autumn season".

"The season for mushroom sales starts in September. From the sales of our farm in Poland, we are selling about 4 to 5 tons of fresh mushrooms per week. This sales volume has more than doubled compared to our sales throughout the summer months. Regarding substrates, we supply substrates to mushroom European growers in Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Lithuania. This Autumn, we will ship around four to six containers. We use this supply to for our own mushroom farm in Poland, but a minimum of two containers are sold to the European market. The demand continues to grow strongly", continues Shutong.

Shiitake mushrooms are relatively straightforward to grow but often require a confined space with a controlled atmosphere environment. Growers remove the substrate from the container, mist it with water, and watch the shiitake mushrooms develop after 3 to 5 days. After 7 days, the crop can be harvested. Typically, shiitake has two flushes per log, weighing 700 to 800 grams each. King Oyster is a single flush that grows 400–500 g of mushroom in 20 days.

The yield of shiitake mushrooms grown with spawns is about 30% higher than that with packed culture, and the cultivation time is about twice as short (7-10 days). In addition, the produced shiitake mushrooms are better in taste and higher in nutritional value when grown from mushroom spawns.

In China, the company's facilities include automated production and packing lines for shiitake logs. The company produces 150 to 200 million shiitake logs per year. The logs, after production, are frozen until they are installed in the place where the shiitake will be grown

The company continues to grow its international presence and production capacity. In addition to production facilities in China and Europe, Qihe Biotechnology opened factories in South Korea in 2005. Later, in 2014, the company opened a plant in the USA, and in 2015 it opened facilities in Japan. Shutong says: "Currently, we have four farms in the USA, three in Japan, and subsidiaries in South Korea and Poland. In all these markets we sell fresh mushrooms. In addition to the fresh mushrooms, we also offer the substrate to the market. We continue to supply the world with our fresh exotic mushrooms and substrate."

The vegetarian and vegan markets continue to grow, with demand rising among millennials and GenZ generations. "King oyster is a great meat substitute, convenient and easy to cook and add to recipes. With our local production and distribution sites in Europe and other markets, we are flexible and fast to supply the market. We are confident demand from Europe will grow in the coming years. And we are ready to supply," concludes Shutong.
